Encaustic Art Workshop

Workshop at The Sheep Shed Gallery in Weyhill.

In this workshop, Karen Tait will teach participants the basics of Encaustic Art; a technique also known as hot wax painting which involves using heated beeswax to which coloured pigments are added. There are many ways to work with heat and coloured waxes in the creation of artwork, however the nature of Encaustic Art means you will never end up with two pieces exactly the same. This workshop will be concentrating in using the iron by painting a landscape and an abstract picture. Ticket Prices: £35.00
