The Big Pause Virtual Exhibition

The Big Pause is an online exhibition of artworks created during or inspired by lockdown. Exhibited works have been selected from entries to an Open Art Competition organised by Artful Collective and features a range of both 2D and 3D artwork.

Many of the artworks will be for sale, with 25% of all proceeds going to Hope In Depression, a UK based charity which provides support and advice for people suffering with anxiety and depression and their carers. www.hopeindepression.org 

For many people, creativity was an important way to express their experiences and feelings through lockdown, with many people giving art a go for the first time or revisiting a lost hobby. Many experienced the benefits of creativity as a tool for wellbeing and mindfulness. The aim of this competition and exhibition is to bring together a collection of works that reflect people’s personal experiences of this time.
