Macbeth

This exciting and innovative production was first performed in Stockbridge Town Hall in November 2019 and is being revived for two outdoor performances in the beautiful garden of The Burrow, Longstock - courtesy of Nigel and Kerry Lynne.

Director John Baxter has cut the text so that the play runs for just over an hour with no interval. This abridged version keeps the essence of the play and generates a distinctive intensity and unrelenting pace. The cast of ten actors play multiple roles and create their own percussion soundtrack for the show, which will be performed live.
